What can I tell you about me?

I am a freelance photographer with a special interest in photographic art, lifestyle photography and photojournalism. This blog is a means for me to share my journey with you as I navigate the land of pro photography. My goal here is to learn. By sharing my work and my thoughts, I hope to learn more about myself. Also, this is a personal challenge for me becuase putting my work out there will force me to keep shooting...often! Plus, practice (becuase it makes perfect) and your perspectives of my work will help mold me into the best photographer I can be!

Art. Lifestyle. Journalism. are the cornerstones of my photography...

Why Art? Because God is in the details and we need to take a step closer and appreciate them.

Why Lifestyle? Because people and events are just fabulous and who doesn't want to be admired?

Why Journalism? Becuase Life happens and sometimes we need to stop and experience it.

What do photographers do when they get together? They talk bodies, lenses, accessories, lighting, shoots, clients and projects. Basically that’s what we do, as much as we might try to talk about all else that’s going on in the world it always comes back to F-stops and shutter speeds. While visiting a fellow friend and photographer – the amazing Lolade Cameron-Cole (aka the Barefoot photographer) – we decided to head into her back yard to take a few test shots. Her adorable son Mr. T (an up and coming American football player) joined us for a few poses. Now I would have posted the link to LCC’s photography website {here}, but I’m still working on getting her to get her work online. Hmm….! Tick tock, tick tock. LOL!
